Believe it or Not, a Cheesesteak can be Good for you!
At Ron’s Original Bar & Grille in Exton, PA serving good food that is good for you is more than a belief, it is our mission and philosophy. In a society today where most foods are over-processed, over-preserved, and over-saturated, we take pride in showing our customers that it is still possible to enjoy your favorite restaurant entrees, sandwiches, appetizers and more without the guilt of “over indulging”. It’s not always about what you eat, rather, it is about the ingredients that make up what you eat. Health food doesn’t always have to be bland and boring.
Health Food: Good For You Ingredients Make It Easier To Enjoy Your “Guilty” Pleasures
Let’s take a cheesesteak for example. Many will tell you that a cheesesteak can’t possibly be good for you, but what if I tell you that it can be?
In today’s world, a cheesesteak you find at many “run of the mill” pizza shops contains ingredients that will only do you a disservice in the long run. Artificial fillers, marinades loaded with MSG and preservatives are what help make up much of the cheesesteak meats you see in the market today. At Ron’s Original Bar & Grille, our cheesesteak meat is just that….meat. Thinly sliced, beef or chicken, that’s it. No by-products, no marinades, no artificial anything. Why? Because that is what we consider the best and that is what our customers deserve.
Why Are Artificial Ingredients Bad For You?
There have been many studies that show the various detriments of using artificial ingredients in our food. With the rise in highly processed foods, our community is also seeing a rise in gut health issues and disorders. While there is no conclusive evidence confirming this correlation, it does lead one to believe that maybe we should steer away from processed foods and get back to clean and healthy eating.
Apart from gut health issues, it is suggested that some artificial ingredients also contribute to unwanted weight gain, cancer, ADHD, ASD and more. Given this information, we always urge our consumers to take a close look at what they are eating and putting into their bodies.
