Why We’re Moving Away from Seed Oils
You may have noticed that many commercial mayonnaise products are made with refined, highly processed seed oils—like soybean, canola, or sunflower oil. While these oils are inexpensive and widely used, they come with some significant health concerns.
Seed oils are high in omega-6 fatty acids, which can cause an imbalance in your body’s omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. As part of our commitment to your health, we knew we needed to make a change. Instead of using commercial mayo made with seed oils, we’ve started making our own creamy, flavorful avocado oil mayo in-house, and we’re now using it in all of our mayo-based salads!
