Every Recipe Has To Start Somewhere
At Ron’s each of our hand crafted recipes start from the highest quality ingredients we can find. When it comes to the products we receive from our vendors, we have very strict standards. So much so, that Ron thoroughly inspects each label to ensure that these products are acceptable and follow along with our philosophy to serve the cleanest, healthiest possible versions of our favorite dishes. Whether it’s eggs from locally, humanely raised chickens or beef without added hormones and antibiotics or shrimp that is free of phosphates, we are proud to serve the best because that is what our customers deserve.
Locally Sourced
Ron loves to source our ingredients locally whenever possible. Not only does it support our community and small businesses but it also allows us the luxury to know exactly what our ingredients are made of. Take our eggs for example, we partner with a local farm to provide our customers with the freshest eggs laid by humanely raised, 100% organically fed chickens. Beyond our eggs, we source our coffee and custom cold brew blend from a local, family owned and operated Chester County staple. From one small business to another, it is important to support each other in our local communities.
So, what happens when we can’t source it locally? Sometimes, we have to go…international!
Importing the Finest
When we can’t find the ingredients that meet our standards locally, sometimes we turn to our European neighbors for the finest imports. For instance, we use high quality “00” flour imported direct from Italy. Why? “00” flour has a lower gluten content as it is made from ancient grains rather than the highly processed and hybridized wheat found here in the USA. Apart from that, the fine grind of “00” flour is the secret behind our light and airy pizza dough that everyone knows and loves.
Whether sourced locally, within the states or internationally, each of the products that come through our kitchen doors go through the same quality inspection process to ensure it meets our high quality standards. You won’t find any subpar products around these parts!
